French reinsurer SCOR has announced the appointment of Gilles Nansenet as Global Account Executive within its Global Client Unit in Paris.
Nansenet brings 35 years of experience in the property and casualty reinsurance industry. He joins SCOR after two decades at AXA XL Re, where he most recently served as Market Manager for Germany, Switzerland, and Italy.
He began his career in 1989 as a treaty underwriter at Sorema and Transatlantic Re, before taking on a Regional Manager role at Odyssey Re, overseeing German-speaking countries and Italy.
Nansenet later managed French insurance subsidiaries at DEVK and spent two years as a senior broker at Benfield, before joining XL Re in 2004.
